A Dominant Lack of Presence

MOLON LABE - Vote for New Specialty Mag Skins!

MOLON LABE - Vote for New Specialty Mag Skins!

One of the ways that our GunSkins Camo Kits differ from the competition are the camouflage patterns we offer. We're particularly proud of our specialty selections for Mag Skins. These options include the following: American Flag, Skull, and the Jolly Roger. One of our previous specialty patterns, called "Come & Take It", has been discontinued. This is not bad news because we're going to be replacing with a brand new pattern called ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ (Molon Labe).

Possible new specialty AR-15 Mag Skin

Molon labe (Greek) lit. "come and take", is a classical expression of defiance reportedly spoken by King Leonidas I in response to the Persian army's demand that the Greeks surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae.

MOLON LABE

This new Molon Labe Mag Skin will feature the Latin phrase (come and take it) etched in writing alongside imagery of a spartan helmet. It's very fitting since the Spartans were known for their combat skills and their call to arms. In the past the mighty Leonidas once said "come, take it!", but there have been countless others, then and now, who display that same courage in the face of opposition. We will not back down and we will not give up the fight.

We can't decide which set of Mag Skins we like best. Previously, all of our mag skins came with 3 sets of the same pattern. This will be the first time we offer a camo option that comes with three unique mag skins. This has been a request from many fans and we think it's a great idea!

Cast Your Vote for Molon Labe Mag Skins

THE CHOICE IS YOURS!

The first set of Molon Labe Mag Skins features an amazingly detailed close up of a spartan skull and helmet, with the phrase hugging the edge. This mag skin is black and has already received positive feedback from everyone we show it to. It was so popular, we thought of offering the same imagery but in two other colors: forest green and gold. It's the same pattern, but with different color variations.

The second set of Molon Labe Mag Skins contains one of the same patterns as the first set, but the two other sets are brand new images. The second mag skin features a beautifully rendered and complex tapestry of Spartan helmets, swords, and text in a rustic green color. This metallic image is fascinating to look at and makes any mag look like a thousand bucks. The last mag skin features the iconic Spartan helmet in a profile view, simple and black, with a golden texture in the background. Like the first set, these mag skins come in black, green, and gold. This time, however, all of the imagery is different despite all three featuring the Molon Labe imagery.

Your vote today matters! This is an amazing opportunity to show us what you want and help others by offering something new that can transform any mag into something more. Molon Labe is not to be taken lightly.

Regardless of which set of mag skins is victorious, we are excited to offer these new options for our AR-15/M4 Mag Skins. The specific Molon Labe Mag Skin in black is the flagship image that carries the attitude and message that we believe in. It's one of our new favorite patterns and we're hoping that it will soon become a new fan favorite, too. We'll post the winner here at a later date.

Do you make it for a 30rd Mag that holds a 7.62❎51? For a few synthetic and a few steel Mags. Can you make it for a 75rd drum?

Our Mag Skins fit 30-round P Mags. They will also fit 15 round mags, but not 75. The issue is there’s not enough material for anything larger, but it’s fine for magazines that are smaller. Synthetic or steel, it’s all applicable.
