A great way to camo your gun.

1. Simple to do.
2. If you take your time it will turn out great.
3. You do not have to spray your hole gun down with break cleaner or any other.
4. Clean each section you are about to do. I used kleen strip and a cloth. If you spray your hole gun down you are stripping oils from places you don't have to.
5. Take each part off and make your adjustments as needed. Heat with a heat gun or hair dryer ( more control ) its what I used.
6. After you are done and have gone out shooting and after your clean re heat and double check your work.
7. I recommend not to wrap your barrel. If you are into drum dumps or mag, it will peel or melt.
8. All in all I will be doing more stuff and it is a great product and it works as described.

Everything went good! This is the third package I bought and I'm very pleased. Just wish you guys sold individual cut outs.. like the dust cover for an ak for example. i messed up the last one I did

AK47 wrapped in green Zombie Camo

I've never done this type of installation before but the patterns are accurate and the material is pretty easy to deal with. I took the gun apart, cleaned everything to be wrapped with alcohol and started my installation. I used a hair dryer that was easily hot enough and found it a necessity. The kit comes with a very large uncut sheet for the butt stock and that took a little time to get correct but I worked it out. I'd say it's very important to disassemble the entire weapon to give yourself ample space to wrap each part. It took me about 2.5 hours for my installation and I didn't wrap the barrel. There's too much heat and oil there for me to want to deal with it. Anyway, it looks totally fine without the barrel wrapped. I give this kit an "A" so far! Now I have to beat my AK a bit and see how it wears!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will heat from the barrel melt the GunSkin?
The heat from the barrel will not effect the GunSkin. However, we do not recommend installing the GunSkin on the barrel, if you intend on using full auto.
Can the GunSkin be removed?
GunSkins are removable and have no effect on the finish. To remove the GunSkin, heat the material with a heat gun/blow dryer and peel off. If there is any residue left behind, use rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone to remove.
Why will the GunSkin not stick to my gun/accessory?
You must thoroughly clean the gun/accessory before installing the GunSkin. We use a gun-specific degreaser and a small brush. Make sure to scrub all the recessed areas to remove oil and dirt. Then wipe it off, or with some parts you can rinse with warm water and let dry. Newer guns tend to be more oily, so you might need to clean it twice. Before installing, you can use rubbing alcohol to wipe off any dust or debris. Also, make sure to use heat as your installing the GunSkin, it helps the material to conform.
